Let the destruction begin on Mars!!!!; First Impressions

Wow for a 2005 OVA anime. Hametsu no mars or mars of destruction is just mind blowing brilliant. I mean what the hell was I even doing watching them other shows. I’ve clearly missed a classic right here folks.

….. seriously …..

This is the WORST OVA I’ve seen. I mean GOOD LORD.

The characters are lifeless. I mean we only know who the main character is because his name is mentioned like 4 times. Whilst the female characters are just bland, lifeless (mentioned twice) and forgettable. The lines are the same; delivered in a dead pan tone. The animation … good lord … there were shaky camera.

And for the story …. wow … just wow. This is how it went. Beginning <–cut straight to–> the middle then <–cut straight to–> the end. Oh whilst we’re at the end throw in a twist. Literally. A straight up cut and paste job. A shoddy 19 minute job.

Oh and a girl gets decapitated and the doctor pronounces her dead, shakes my head. No screen shots will be attached, I’ll spare you the humiliation.

  1. Wow, you hated that and you are the second person to tell me just how bad this is. If people keep doing this it is going to make me want to see it just to see if it could possibly be that bad.
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. When you started off the blog, I was really surprised and thought that you might actually pronounce this………. THING…. good. But thankfully you didn’t. As for the piece of ‘art’ here…….. well…. NOT EVEN WORST IS AS WORSE AS IT IS.
